     Our purpose for the Minirth Christian Program at Big Creek of the Buffalo River is a Christian Retreat that is dedicated to promoting growth and achievement for an improved quality of life while protecting the rights, dignity, welfare, and privacy of our clients. The spectrum of help provided ranges from those who just want rest, relaxation, and fun to those who want help with various emotional, physical, and spiritual issues.

     Our dedication is providing quality care in a kind, nurturing, and Christ like environment so that every person we encounter may experience a manner of life with purpose and with new found hope. With renewed conviction the desire for a fulfilling and healthy life may be achieved.

     The Minirth Christian Program is a Christian treatment program. The program strengthens the spiritual beliefs of the Christian client, family, church, and community. This approach is based on the Biblical truth that God created each person for health and fulfillment of spirit, mind, and body.

     The Minirth Christian Program believes Christ is interested in each person and that He provides solutions to our problems when we seek after Him.

     The Minirth Christian Program uses the application of God’s Word to life’s situations. The program takes Biblical principles and makes them come alive and real in each person’s life. Then the person is encouraged to take what they have learned in coaching, mentoring, or therapy and practice it in their daily lives.

     The Minirth Christian Program provides a broad and balanced treatment approach. It strives to provide clinically sound and caring treatment while meeting the personality of each individual.
